HIMBA Dual Slalom registration/RSVP deadline is Monday the 24th.

Location: Double Cross Dual Slalom Course, Strachan Valley Hornby Island.
Drive or ride your bike to the end of Strachan Road and follow the lane (marked as Double Cross on TrailForks) that continues straight into a field and then into the woods. The Dual Slalom course is located in the middle section of Double Cross.
This is a free event, but you must pre-register & be a HIMBA member to take part. Waivers will be signed on the day of the event. All competitors must be HIMBA members, and kids under 19 will need a parent or guardian present to sign their waiver.

Don’t want to race head-to-head? No problem, you can come up and get a few timed runs in. Please use the form below to let us know you are coming so we know to cook you a hot dog..
Details
- Tuesday August 25, 3:00 pm to dusk.
- Free hot dogs and beverages.
- Timed practice runs start at 3:00
- Qualifying runs start at 4:30.
- Qualifying is a “best of two runs” format.
- Head-to-head racing will use a double knockout format, which means you will get to race head-to-head at least twice, and even if you lose one race, you can still make it to the finals.
